What constitutes a tune-up on today’s cars?
Pretty much the same as the "old days", with spark plugs,
fuel and air filters, and in most cases, plug wires, but
did you know that most cars today do not have ignition
points and condensers? And some vehicles have multiple
ignition coils and in some cases no plug wires!

Menu priced tune-ups are a thing of the past due to the
variety of systems under the hoods of today’s cars.
At Crosstown Auto, we are aware of the confusion this
causes the consumer when his or her car is running poorly.
In many cases customers request a tune-up when their car
is running poorly only to find that it has nothing more
than a plugged fuel filter or some other component failure
that has caused the symptom or failure of the vehicle.
Therefore, we ask you to make an appointment to let us
evaluate the vehicle, so we can not only make it run like
new again, but save you hard earned money as well.
